Noa Wellness

Liberation from the ordinary

& wildly better living

For couples navigating disconnection, betrayal, and repeated conflict—who want real clarity, not just temporary relief.

If your relationship feels like it’s stuck in the same argument on repeat—or trust has been broken and you don’t know how to move forward—you’re not alone.

I work with couples in crisis, including those navigating betrayal and deep disconnection, who feel caught in patterns that leave them hurt, defensive, or shut down. Most couples aren’t lacking effort—they’re stuck in ways of relating that no longer work. Together, we slow those moments down, understand what’s happening underneath them, and begin building communication that creates clarity, steadiness, and a path forward.

About Us

Noa Wellness is a relationship-centered practice dedicated to helping individuals and couples move out of patterns that create distance and into connection that feels steady, clear, and intentional.

While many therapeutic spaces address a wide range of concerns, the focus here is specific: relationships—how they function, how they break down, and how they can be rebuilt with clarity and care. Whether navigating conflict, disconnection, or betrayal, this is a space designed to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and create meaningful, lasting change.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy at Noa Wellness is not about sitting in a room and talking in circles—it’s about understanding what’s actually happening in your relationship and changing it. Most couples come in feeling stuck: the same arguments on repeat, communication that escalates or shuts down, hurt that doesn’t feel resolved, and distance that continues to grow. In my work, I take a structured, practical approach. We identify the patterns driving your conflict, slow down the moments where things go wrong, and get clear on what each of you is actually experiencing beneath the surface. From there, we begin building new ways of communicating that create understanding and movement, not more frustration. This is not passive therapy—you can expect direct guidance, meaningful redirection, and tools you can actually use outside of session. I will step in when needed, help you stay focused, and hold both partners accountable to the process of change. Whether you’re navigating ongoing conflict, emotional disconnection, or the impact of broken trust, the goal is to move you out of reactivity and into clarity, intention, and repair. This work is best suited for couples who are willing to look honestly at their patterns, open to feedback, and ready to engage in something deeper than temporary relief. For those who desire it, therapy can also incorporate a faith-based perspective, grounded in truth, accountability, grace, and restoration. This is a space where relationships are taken seriously—and where change is not just talked about, but practiced.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling at Noa Wellness is designed for those who are single or navigating relationship challenges—even if your partner isn’t ready or willing to participate. You may be feeling stuck trying to make sense of your relationship, questioning what’s healthy, or noticing patterns that keep repeating no matter who you’re with. Whether you’re in a relationship where communication feels strained, facing uncertainty about whether to stay or leave, or single and finding yourself drawn to the same types of partners and outcomes, this work is focused on creating clarity. As a therapist specializing in relationship-focused therapy in Gilbert, AZ, I help individuals understand the patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses that shape how they show up in relationships. Together, we slow things down, identify what’s actually happening beneath the surface, and begin shifting the way you engage—so you’re no longer reacting out of confusion, fear, or habit. This is a practical, no-nonsense space where we move beyond overthinking and into insight, direction, and intentional change. For those who desire it, sessions can also incorporate a faith-integrated perspective, grounding your decisions in truth, clarity, and alignment. Whether your partner joins later or not at all, this work allows you to move forward with confidence in how you understand yourself and your relationships.

Evidence-Based Care

At the core of my work is helping couples understand the patterns that keep their relationship stuck. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Healthy Marriage Model, we focus on identifying what’s often referred to as a “reactive cycle”—the repeated way couples get caught in conflict, disconnection, or shutdown. Most couples aren’t arguing about the surface issue; they’re reacting to deeper feelings like hurt, fear, or unmet needs, and those reactions begin to follow a predictable pattern. In our work together, we slow these moments down, map out what’s happening in real time, and create a new way of responding that leads to clarity and connection rather than escalation. This structured, relationship-focused approach to couples therapy and marriage counseling in Arizona helps move you out of automatic reactions and into intentional communication, making lasting change possible.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy is offered as a premium, individual add-on for clients who want a more dynamic and grounded way to process what they’re navigating. This is not a traditional in-office session—and it’s not designed for couples—but rather a focused, one-on-one space where we move side by side outdoors while engaging in intentional therapeutic work.

For many clients, being in motion creates a different level of clarity. It can feel easier to open up, process relational stress, and work through emotional blocks without the intensity of sitting face-to-face. This format is especially supportive for those navigating relationship decisions, recurring patterns, anxiety, or moments where they feel stuck and need perspective.

While the setting is more relaxed, the work remains structured and purposeful. We are still identifying patterns, building insight, and moving toward clear direction—just in an environment that supports both emotional and physical movement forward.

Walk and talk therapy is available in Gilbert, AZ and surrounding areas, and is best suited for individuals who are comfortable outdoors and ready to engage in a more active, focused therapeutic experience.

Why Choose Walk-and-Talk Therapy?

Nature's Therapeutic Benefits: Being outdoors and in nature can have a calming and grounding effect on both the therapist and the client. The natural environment can create a sense of peace and relaxation, which can enhance the therapeutic process.

Physical Activity: Incorporating physical activity into therapy sessions can be beneficial for mental health. Walking and talking can help clients release endorphins, reduce stress, and improve mood. It can also be a healthy way to address issues like anxiety or depression.

Reduced Stigma: Some individuals may feel less stigmatized by outdoor therapy because it doesn't have the same clinical setting as traditional therapy offices. It may be more appealing to those who are hesitant about seeking help.

Variety and Novelty: Walk and talk therapy offers a change of pace from traditional office-based therapy. For some clients, the novelty of this approach can be refreshing and make therapy more engaging.

Enhanced Creativity and Problem-Solving: Being in nature can stimulate creativity and improve problem-solving abilities. Clients may find it easier to think outside the box and explore solutions to their challenges.

Privacy and Open Space: Outdoor settings can offer a sense of privacy while still being in a public area. Clients who are concerned about confidentiality may feel more at ease in an open environment.

Symbolism and Metaphor: Nature can provide rich metaphors for discussing issues and personal growth. Clients and therapists can draw on the symbolism of the natural world to explore emotions and experiences.

Connection and Relationship-Building: Walking side by side in nature can create a more relaxed and collaborative atmosphere, which can strengthen the therapeutic relationship.

Holistic Approach: Walk and talk therapy often aligns with a holistic approach to mental health that considers physical, emotional, and environmental factors in well-being.

Personal Preference: Some clients may simply prefer being outdoors or enjoy walking as a means of processing their thoughts and feelings. Meeting clients where they are comfortable can be a valuable aspect of person-centered therapy.

Getting Help

When a relationship is in distress, waiting rarely makes it better—it often allows patterns to deepen and distance to grow. Research shows that a significant percentage of marriages end in divorce, and many couples wait years before seeking help, often when the damage feels overwhelming. The earlier you address what’s happening, the more possible it is to interrupt the cycle, rebuild connection, and create a different outcome. Seeking support now isn’t a sign of failure—it’s a decision to be intentional about the direction of your relationship before patterns become harder to change.
